YOUR TASKS
- Responsible for leading the team Procurement Direct Material Chemical trade good and actively shaping the transformation process to a best-in-class Procurement Organization
- Enabling assigned employees to meet and improving necessary skill set derived from the transformation process
- Defining strategic orientation and continuous development of the own organization based on the overall procurement roadmap
- Active leadership management and succession planning
- Working in a matrix organization
- Implementing a decision culture, based on commodity strategies and on a Total Value of Ownership approach
- Ensuring an in-time supplier nomination for the new products based on the defined go-to-market strategy, meeting the customer expectations regarding product quality and product features
- Drive the Supplier Innovation Process
- Responsible for the supplier capacity management based on companies S&OP, and securing the suppliers (escalation support) together with Replenishment
- Leading escalative price negotiation on suppliers´ top management level
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor / Master / Diploma in Business Administration, Procurement Management or Industrial Engineering and Management
- Expertise in the field of chemical products, e. g. aerosols for the automotive and / or construction environment
- Several years of leadership experience in an international (matrix) procurement environment in the automotive industry, mechanical and plant engineering or wholesale business
- Change Management competence
- Motivated, empathic, loyal, resilient and persuasive personality
- High negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze and structure challenges in a solution-oriented way
- Entrepreneurial competence combined with a strategic, conceptual and creative approach
- Very good German and English language skills
